Since starting my own physical transformation in 2011, I discovered my passion for fitness and have reaped so many benefits – both tangible and intangible.

The obvious benefits are that I lost some unneeded weight and my blood pressure and resting heart rate lowered to more healthy levels.

The added bonuses I received were more confidence and mental toughness.  I discovered I could do so much more than simply run and lift weights.  I found that I could apply these skills to everyday life.  I became more capable, made many new friends and had fun in the process.

Capable Humans Fitness and The Colony CrossFit was established to inspire and help others to become fit and yes, more capable.

January 2011 – 195 lbs and pushing a size 20
May 2017 – 142 lbs and manhandling a 300+ lb tire
